The home features a central solid block work core and timber frame wing on each side of the house that is clad with rusty Corten interlocking panels. To ensure more efficient heating and cooling, double-glazed windows and cavity sliding doors with timber finishes were used throughout.
Blackbutt timber was used for the decking around the home, the free-standing machinery shed and for the pergola at the entry of the home, creating grand appeal from the outside. Inside, large format tiles were used in living areas and wool carpet in all bedrooms.
